Gold Hits New Record High at Rs 339,300 per Tola in Nepal

Gold prices in Nepal have surged to a new all-time high, with fine gold (9999) trading at Rs 339,300 per tola today, according to the latest rates published on 15 Magh 2082. The sharp rise reflects ongoing volatility in the international bullion market and strong demand for safe-haven assets.

Meanwhile, Tejabi gold was not listed for trading today. Silver prices also climbed, reaching Rs 7,505 per tola, continuing their upward trend alongside gold.

Market analysts attribute the price increase to global economic uncertainty, fluctuating currency values, and rising international gold rates. With wedding season demand and investment interest remaining strong, precious metal prices in Nepal are expected to stay volatile in the coming days.
