Nepali cricket is set to achieve a monumental milestone as the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officially announce a three-match T20 International (T20I) series scheduled for March 26, 28, and 30, 2027. The matches will take place at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, marking the first time a full ICC Test-playing nation visits Nepal for an official bilateral series.
The announcement was finalized following diplomatic and sporting talks involving Nepali Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari and BCB leadership. Beyond breaking new ground on the field, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka confirmed that the series carries a deeper purpose: it will be dedicated to the memory of victims affected by the recent devastating Bhotekoshi flash floods in Nepal, with joint initiatives aimed at raising relief and solidarity funds.
