The Nepal–India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) and the Nepal Business Institute (NBI) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly organize the Nepal Business Summit 2026. The high-level event is scheduled to take place on May 18, 2026, at The Everest Hotel in Kathmandu.

The agreement was signed at the NICCI Secretariat in Narayanchaur, Naxal, by Kunal Kayal, Vice President of NICCI, and Bishal Gaire, Executive Chairperson of NBI. The partnership aims to create a robust platform for dialogue, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders, including:

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Kayal emphasized that the summit would contribute to a comprehensive roadmap for Nepal’s economic growth. The organizers expect the event to produce consolidated recommendations aligned with international best practices, which will be shared with the government to support evidence-based policy reforms.
The one-day summit will run from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, providing extensive networking opportunities and sectoral roundtables aimed at fostering both domestic and international business engagement.
