A potential air accident was narrowly avoided late last night when a Buddha Air flight arriving from Kathmandu skidded off the runway while landing at Bhadrapur Airport. The aircraft, operating as flight U4 901, was carrying 55 passengers at the time of the incident.
According to preliminary information, the plane veered off the runway during landing, causing brief panic among passengers. However, all passengers and crew were safely evacuated, and no serious injuries were reported.
