Nepal Storms into ACC Premier Cup 2026 Final After Crushing Oman by 87 Runs

Nepal secured a spot in the final of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 following an 87-run victory over Oman in the semi-finals at the Bayuemas Cricket Oval.

Sent into bat after losing the toss, Nepal recovered from an early collapse of 36/4 to set a total of 147 runs in 45.4 overs.Dipendra Singh Airee anchored the innings with 51 runs off 76 balls, supported by Basir Ahamad’s 47 runs off 88 balls.For Oman, Jay Odedra and Hassnain Shah picked up three wickets each.

Nepal’s bowling unit dismantled Oman’s batting lineup during the chase, bundling out the opposition for 60 runs in 28.1 overs. Dipendra Singh Airee and Sandeep Lamichhane led the attack with three wickets apiece, while Rohit Paudel and Lalit Rajbanshi claimed two wickets each. Jatinder Singh top-scored for Oman with 25 runs.

Nepal will face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the final on Saturday, September 12. The winner will secure direct qualification for the 2027 Asia Cup.
