Batting first, India’s top order set the tone with an aggressive display. Abhishek Sharma smashed 55 off 30 balls, while Hardik Pandya provided a powerful late surge with an unbeaten 50 from just 23 deliveries. Tilak Varma also chipped in with a rapid 44 off 16 balls, pushing India well past the 250-mark. India’s bowlers backed up the batting effort with discipline. Arshdeep Singh led the attack with figures of 3/24 in his four overs, while Varun Chakaravarthy and Axar Patel picked up a wicket each to maintain control during the middle overs.
