India delivered a commanding performance in the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, defeating Zimbabwe by 72 runs after posting a massive total of 256/4 in 20 overs.

Batting first, India’s top order set the tone with an aggressive display. Abhishek Sharma smashed 55 off 30 balls, while Hardik Pandya provided a powerful late surge with an unbeaten 50 from just 23 deliveries. Tilak Varma also chipped in with a rapid 44 off 16 balls, pushing India well past the 250-mark. Despite efforts from Sikandar Raza (1/29) and Blessing Muzarabani (1/43), Zimbabwe’s bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught.
