The Nepal Police collected more than Rs 402.5 million in revenue within a single month, according to official records.
The amount—Rs 402,549,000—was collected during the month of Mangsir (from November 17 to December 15)through fines, penalties, and various enforcement-related actions across the country.
Police officials said the revenue was generated mainly from traffic rule violations, administrative penalties, and law-enforcement operations. The collection reflects increased monitoring, stricter enforcement of regulations, and improved compliance mechanisms.
Authorities noted that the revenue contributes to strengthening internal government resources while also encouraging public adherence to laws and regulations. The Nepal Police stated that enforcement efforts will continue with a focus on public safety, discipline, and accountability.
