Gold and silver prices in Nepal continued their upward trend today, according to the official rates published by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). The latest figures reflect movements in the international bullion market as well as domestic demand.
As per FENEGOSIDA, the price of fine gold (9999) has been fixed at NPR 268,100 per tola, while the rate per 10 grams stands at approximately NPR 229,850. The record-level pricing has made gold significantly more expensive for both consumers and investors.
Meanwhile, silver prices have also increased. Fine silver is being traded at NPR 4,420 per tola, with the per 10-gram rate at around NPR 3,789.50. Market analysts say silver has followed global trends, supported by industrial demand and investor interest.
Traders note that precious metal prices may continue to fluctuate in the coming days due to changes in global markets and currency exchange rates. Buyers are advised to check daily updates, as rates can vary by location and dealer across the country.
The rising prices are expected to have a noticeable impact on jewelry sales and investment decisions in Nepal, especially during the ongoing festive and wedding season.
