Authorities in Dhanusha have declared an indefinite curfew in Janakpurdham and surrounding areas starting Thursday afternoon to control rising security concerns.

The prohibitory order took effect at 3:30 PM under the direction of Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Luitel. Security officials took action to prevent further violence, clear public spaces, and restore order following heated demonstrations.
