Nepal has marked a significant milestone by establishing its first embassy in Portugal. A dedicated team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently offering services from a temporary office located in Alcântara, Lisbon.
In collaboration with Nepal’s embassy in France, the newly established embassy has initiated mobile consular services, including document verification, to serve the Nepali community in Portugal. Launched on Friday, the mobile service is already processing approximately 200 documents, catering to the immediate needs of Nepali citizens residing in the region.
This strategic move aims to strengthen diplomatic ties between Nepal and Portugal, while providing essential services to the Nepali diaspora in a more accessible manner.
