Gold price up by 400 per tola to set new record

The price of gold in the domestic market continued to surge for the second consecutive day, reaching a new all-time high.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold today has been set at Rs 159,200 per tola (11.66 grams), up from Rs 158,800 on Sunday. On Sunday, the price had already risen by Rs 1,700 per tola compared to Friday, the final trading day of the week.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remains unchanged from Sunday, holding steady at Rs 1,920 per tola today.
