The Government of Nepal has announced that it is closely monitoring the safety of Nepali citizens living and working in the Middle East as tensions continue to rise in the region. Officials say the government is in constant contact with Nepali embassies and diplomatic missions across Gulf countries to assess the situation and ensure the wellbeing of Nepali workers.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal, thousands of Nepali migrant workers are currently employed in countries such as Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Authorities have stated that they are prepared to take necessary measures, including providing assistance through embassies or coordinating evacuation efforts if the security situation deteriorates.
Government representatives have also urged Nepali nationals in the region to stay in contact with their respective embassies, follow local safety guidelines, and remain alert to official updates. Officials say protecting the safety and rights of Nepali citizens abroad remains a top priority during the ongoing regional tensions.
